珍惜所拥有

My Facebook Profile recently updated with this new feature, called “Facebook Timeline”. It arranged my activities onto Timeline.

It is believed that this feature is now only available to certain group of people, such as Developer, and it will go live next Wednesday. Only Developer can see the other developer’s timeline, when the other people only can see the old profile.

The new thing is that I can set my cover photo in my Facebook Profile. I chose a very wonderful, memorable photo that I taken from Second Life.

I can easily navigated to the activities that I done in last month, last two months, or last last years, when I clicked the link at the top right side, Facebook will take me to the activities posted at that time period automatically using slide animation.

It provides another page to show ‘Activities Logs’, a very simple page showing activities list with the information and the time happened.

Just bought myself a new toy, macbook, to support my iOS development.

Every IT accessories of mine had a name, then I named this as “fyhao’s macbook”. Let’s welcome “her” join into this “fyhao’s xxxxxx” families.

It is first time I use macbook, and the first hand experience is everything at different side from Windows, like the close / hide button is at the top left side (while Windows on the top right), and mouse scrolling (up / down) direction also different from Windows. I came into Mac from deep Windows background and now everything is new for me.

Main initiative to approach macbook is because it is always hard time developing iOS (iPhone + iPad) program on Windows and not natively well supported. Second reason is because I really kinda want it.

Lots of new things to explore in this new toy. Last, I will try to understand “her”, talk to “her”, love “her”, as far as I could.

I recently enabled my Second Life Web based Profile Page and my username used inside Second Life is “fyhao Feden”.

Second life in-world profile is closed “in-world” and is not opened to public (outside from Second Life Viewer) last time but after the recent updates, Second Life had made some revolutionary changes, to open it towards web-based access. It brought along with status updates, privacy and permission settings, friends, groups features for Second Life Residents.

8月12日及8月13日，这两天，是宽柔校庆日，我回校了。毕业了四年，其实我每年校庆都有回去。

还有联络的不是同班的人，而是电脑协会及电脑中心的老师，每次回去都找他们叙旧。

这天到处都有义卖，很多节目，游戏，各团体展览，书展等。

过后遇到一群与我差不多同届的“老人”，加上电脑中心主任，到校园去拍“毕业照”，都是自己带来的大学毕业服，他们真够敢的。

还遇到一位我高三时教我英文的老师，她还记得我的样子，但忘记我的名字了，我对她的印象也是这样，哈。我非常记得每次上她的课必定睡着，然后她就很可爱走到我面前，叫我。

每年回去都很少去买义卖会的东西，今年有大力支持。当年我们班级义卖的时候，校庆日前几天整个班级都是菜市场，大家忙着切菜。有表演的也会在前面练习。我呢，哈哈，都是在角落赶数学题而已。。。哇，真的很怀念当年，在宽中有很多说不完的故事，很精彩，永远都记得。这种情形大概只有独中才有。（清心国度这个论坛正是发迹于这个班级，上面还能找到当年班级讨论的珍贵历史纪录。）

我和我两个妹妹各自去各自的。大妹从新加坡来，没有在学校遇到她。初中一的妹妹就有遇到，看到她拿着垃圾袋和一群朋友走在一起。据说初中一的小弟弟小妹妹每个班级都要去捡垃圾半个小时。过后我们就分道扬镳了，我没去帮忙捡。。。

电脑协会今年的展览是以苹果及谷歌的流动产品为主，还有展出 iPad & eeePad。很可惜的，由于展览的课室的电源插座有问题，所以展览提早收工。。。

发现一些刚毕业的电协女生突然绽放出来了，都不敢正视。她们都是我认为排名第三第四第五美的。排第一的当然是我妈妈，排第二的当然是我的天使。除了妈妈之外，其他人都不敢正视。。。

关于独中简介：

由于历史原因，早期的华文中学不接受改制而成为独立中学，得以保存完整中文教育（宽柔中学为第一间宣布不改制的中学），因此没能得到政府拨款，学生每年除了要给学费（越涨越高），也要走出校园筹款。由于政府不承认独中高中统考文凭，所以导致人才外流，进不到国立大学，大多都跑去新加坡，台湾，澳洲，美国，英国，或私立的大学。Pendrive发明者潘建成就是毕业自独中，现在在台湾发展。新加坡影帝陈汉伟、姚文龙、戴佩妮，皆毕业自宽柔中学。

呼吁

在此呼吁各位宽柔中学校友在后年的校庆日一同穿回当年的高中校衣回去，庆祝宽柔百年成立日。

也在此呼吁当朝政府早日承认独中高中统考文凭。

七夕节又称为“乞巧节”，相传，每年农历七月初七的夜晚，是天上“织女”与“牛郎”相会之时。
在此，祝天下有情人终成眷属。

由于在家里写着程序，有点无聊，最小的妹妹去上学(大马华文独立中学星期六有上课)，大妹妹也去外面找朋友逛街，所以我就独自一人下去 City Square 的书局逛。

实际上，这些不是很好的理由足以支持我为何又去书局逛，今天是这个月总计第12次了，几乎是每两天就去一次书局，天天被书籍环绕着。我打破了我个人的记录 — 一年有可能才去一两次书局。好，这次是这个月最后一次了。

每次去书局看书，都可以发现新的东西，这些就是乐趣所在。去书局可以陶冶性情，也可纾解寂寞。

这个月下来每次去书局，我都意在找江李老师的其他系列书籍，最后都失望而归。但今天却被我找到了他们的完整系列，基于阅读的速度以及所带的现金数，所以只先选择了比较适合的两本买回家看。
