今天，开始，飞机准备起飞。。。但因为初次操作，没有经验，所以延迟起飞。。。

所以，晚上继续延续 weekend 的 Discuz programmer day。由于白天工作已经写了很多程序，所以晚上做的东西都没有什么技术含量，不用思考多少的，只是纯粹做程序翻译及文档翻译。

想到一个跟Discuz有关的开发idea。开发iPhone及Android Discuz客户端。目前已有大板凳同类应用，但是需要付款。我的idea是，免费apps，并附加 Discuz 聊天室，并整合 Imgshow 平台 (增强发贴体验)，新主题/回复/短消息即时通知(Push Notification)，及整合更多有用的东西。

这个周末感觉良好，在家。

多数房间呆在家里，我的房间，开发Discuz插件程序。通常我都是在楼下客厅及饭桌上网(……)，所以诱惑很多；在房间，可以安静一个人编写程序。

这个周末，我好像获得了非常大的精神动力，所以就想趁着这个热情，去编写Discuz插件。

在6月18日，分别于凌晨2点及下午发布了两个Discuz插件，其实只是做旧版本的功能改进。主要是做 DiscuzX1.5 版本下的插件升级至 DiscuzX2 版本，并为 DiscuzX2 特有的手机版页面做了一些调整。

最近论坛少人上，所以在自己论坛发布下载量都是0，所以直接在官网 discuz.net 发布了，短时间就很多人下载安装并立即收到回馈了。整个过程其实蛮紧张刺激的。

我近年发布的 Discuz 插件都是以 Imgshow 平台为开发重点，并围绕它写了一些 discuz 插件及其他程序，比如分享美食地点 Discuz 插件。因此这个周末对它做出更新也显得蛮重要的。这次的改进包括，一，对 DiscuzX2 新版本更完美的整合，支持手机页面的展示；二，改善后台管理功能体验。插件功能的确对论坛有很大的帮助，会用的站长应该可以体验到。但也有蛮多的站长第一眼看却不懂这个插件是做什么的，所以我想我需要在这方面做出改进，做好介绍，之后要做的应该是教学指导。另外的问题我也发现到，中国论坛安装后出现了一些问题，这些是中国以外的论坛不会出现的问题。我想应该是 Imgshow 平台服务器端 (Server Side) 被中国墙了。。。这的确会影响 Imgshow 插件的使用。

Imgshow Discuz 插件的宗旨是以减低用户使用难度，简化站长管理为目标，所以整个程序很贴心的设计了智能化，自动化更新管理的功能，一有新功能，或现有的功能改进，已经安装这个插件的论坛都能自动更新支持，几乎支持 Discuz 的任何版本(但目前只特别为 DiscuzX 1.5及 X2 编写插件客户端，未来会看情况编写低版本的客户端)。同时这个插件已经为国际化做出了准备，同时支持中文，英文及马来文版的插件。当每个 Imgshow 服务做出更新，不同语言版本的插件客户端都会自动更新。未来开发计划或许会包括编写 phpwind 论坛，joomla, wordpress 相关功能插件，wordpress 版本目前只有我的部落格(本站) 使用，目前还很简单，不能发表，需要时间研究 wordpress 插件机制。。。同时，Windows Live Writer 插件版本也会进行改进再准备找时间发布。

另外，我也会应要求，在近期翻译泰文版的 Shoutbox 聊天室 插件。(其实我是用谷歌翻译，我不懂泰文) discuzthai.com，泰文版的 discuz (第三方组织)，泰国人的编程技术也是很强的说。。。

额外的讯息，Discuz 官方近期办了一个插件模板大赛，需要在7月21日之前提交作品，一等奖是 iPad 2。（但据我所知，Apple 已经发布禁令禁止把 iPhone, iPad 当作免费活动奖品，所以不知 Discuz 官方最终是否能送出。）

由于目前大学毕业工作了，所以只能在周末做这些业余开发，所以开发进度会比较慢，恳请各位站长见谅。我会继续支持 Discuz，支持开源。

周末结束了，新的一个星期开始了。努力工作咯！

During lunch hour last last last weeks, my colleagues helped me to think one “English nickname”. He said in Singapore no “English nickname” cannot live. After a few tries, they came out “Kenny Khor”, can be pronounced as “KK”. Oh my god…

Officially, I am still not accept having a “English nickname” instead of using my full name (Khor Yong Hao). Maybe, I don’t want to be westernized.

But, I accepted “Kenny Khor” as my one of the alternative temporary “nickname” (until I choose which one I truly like), during lunch hour, OR during office hour, in informal duration.

But officially, I treat “fyhao” as my “Internet nickname”, “fyhao Khor” is one of the accepted address. Not only Internet friend called me “fyhao”, even with someone who suddenly just come over me and asked me “Are you fyhao?” in my university last time… “fyhao” had existed 6 years. “fyhao” can be used in private or public or business, and may listed on my professional name card in the future.

Many people having problems to pronoun “fyhao”. Some pronouned as “fi hao”, or “fai hao”… But the correct way of pronunciation is very simple: “F-Y-Hao”… And normally, when I write “fyhao” in article or paragraph, I will try my best to put it as lowercase instead of uppercase. Like, it should be “fyhao Khor”, but not “Fyhao Khor”. Because of the reason, modest…

“fyhao” is not going to be a brand, or a company, but an personal identity I hold. “fyhao.com” is my official Internet spoken medium, as my personal front page, everything my personal thoughts, stuff, and my sharing, but will not be going to become an organization under this name.

So now, in conclusion, don’t forget, my alternative name is “Kenny Khor” as well.

At night of 14 June, it is still a normal day I spent. But at least I have do a little of stuffs.

First, I had updated some bugs discovered in my forum, such as flash game link. And then I reviewed the share foodspot plugin (分享美食地点) for Discuz X2. For my site I just simply disable the functions that not supported by the newer version of DiscuzX2 to avoid the occurred errors. I am still seeking a better time to renewing the DiscuzX Plugins that I had developed to suit latest version of DiscuzX2. For now, any changes for my plugins I will first deployed in my own forum OR I will request two or three friends’ site help me to test (so, if you are interested of my plugins, you can reach me at fyhao1@gmail.com). I am not ready to publish the newer fix in next two weeks again since there is a lot of things to do still and I faced time-decision problem (although I am free at night after work but I don’t know why I have lost focus… Maybe need to think another amazing stuff, I hoped I can solve soon, bless me) For Facebook Connect For DiscuzX plugin, got many emails sent to me, some from Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan for asking the related questions, however I have no enough time to reply and maintain the plugin development, what only I can do is recommend another version that developed by my friends to them. BUT once I solved my time problem, I may research again for this plugin that fit into DiscuzX2, and may open source again.

And then I researched akshell again to create a mobile web apps. Created another very simple mobile web apps for sharing what thoughts today. As default there is a list of items can be selected, and is able to post, and then the user can play the sound. The sound player is HTML5 supported, meant it will be only displayed if you are using “modern browser” such as Google Chrome, OR the recommended device (iPhone or Android). The user can post without logged in, but it may requires logged in in the future.
